This year’s Austin Wine & Music Festival (AWMF) Award will feature winning Texas Wineries including Flat Creek Estate, Driftwood Estate Winery, Stone House Winery, Spicewood Vineyards, Dry Comal Creek, Pillar Bluff Vineyards, Wimberley Valley Winery, and Duchman Family Winery under the gorgeous pavilion at Driftwood Estate Winery for, “A Sunday Affair”, on May 27th from 1PM to 7 PM. Local beer providers and food trailers will be on site to provide a variety of delicacies including Fired Up Kitchen and Sunrise Cafe.
Austin Wine & Music Festival is an event designed to be “The Locals” festival compiled of all things that make Austin famous with local wine, beer, food trailers, and endless musical talent. Jeff Wood will provide live music from 1PM -3:30PM and Bret Graham from 4:00PM to 7:00 PM.
AWMF partners with Operation Finally Home a nonprofit that builds homes for wounded veterans and their families at no cost. Operation Finally Home will be present and also hosting an online auction for those that want to give and cannot be present at the web site http://tinyurl.com/d2cg6ra
This year AWMF has expanded the 3-day affair into a year round series of events to appeal to celebrate Texas wineries. Each loyal consumer is invited to experience the wineries in their own estate fruit setting while discovering the vintners who work diligently to cultivate the celebratory vintage known as The Austin Wine & Music Festival. This will be the first in a series of six “Mini Events” at the winery properties while the newly constructed event park is completed at The Domain. In 2013 AWMF will resume in regular fashion in the park alongside the grand opening of the new Whole Foods at The Domain.
Tickets can be purchased for $25.00 online to get a wristband with tasting tabs that can be used for two glasses of wine or 10 individual tastes. Tickets also include AWMF souvenir wine glass.
